The owner or operator shall submit a copy of the test results within 60 days of completion of the test If a qualitative release method is used (e.g., tank annular sensors, sump sensors, ground water monitoring, etc.), the system and associated equipment must be evaluated by a 3rd party and certified for accuracy and response time. The following requirements must also be met: - correct answer.1. If product piping does not have a line leak detector and is monitored via piping sloped back to a low-point sump with a sensor, the piping must be tested for tightness annually using an appropriate method.
  7. Vadose zone monitoring must be conducted in accordance with appropriate requirements (see Title 23 section 2647).
  8. Groundwater monitoring must be conducted in accordance with appropriate requirements (see Title 23 section 2648).
  9. Any qualitative method that includes the installation of monitoring wells or drilling other borings shall comply with appropriate requirements (see Title 23 section 2649) Manual inventory reconciliation may be used as part of a non-visual monitoring program for existing tanks.
