1313 Applied Business Mathematics. (3) This course is designed to develop competency in mathematics for business use. Ten-key touch method on the electronic desktop calculators is stressed. Three lecture hours per week.
1413 Records Management. (3) This course focuses on the systems approach to managing recorded information in any form. Emphasis is placed on the three categories into which records generally fall B paper, image, and digital B and the treatment of these categories in proper management, storage, and retrieval. 1433 Business Accounting. (3) This course is designed to develop an understanding of recording, classifying, and summarizing business transactions and events with insight into interpreting and reporting the resulting effects upon the business. Three lecture hours per week.

A study of the parts of speech, sentence structure, sentence types, capitalization, punctuation, and spelling is emphasized. Three lecture hours per week.
1813 Electronic Spreadsheet. (3) Prerequisite: BOT 1313 This course focuses on applications of the electronic spreadsheet as an aid to management decision making. Two lecture and two lab hours per week.

(3) Prerequisite: BOT 1143 This course presents graphic design techniques, principles of page layout and design, and electronic publishing terminology and applications to create a variety of documents such as flyers, brochures, newsletters, and business cards.
