An overview of the BSc Paramedic Science & Out of Hospital Care programme at the University of Sunderland. Topics covered include the programme duration and structure, assessments, placements, and entry criteria. Assessments include reflective writing, essays, poster presentations, critical analysis, OSCEs, and a dissertation. Placements are offered twice a year with 80 students per intake. Personal statements should highlight key strengths, understanding of the role, and relevant experience. Relevant experience includes formal work, volunteering, and community involvement.
