Brunel University London Personal Tutoring ➢ Dr Ian Dear, Senior Tutor, ian.dear@brunel.ac.uk ➢ University life is exciting but also challenging, expecting you to be more independent, creative, and proactive in problem solving ➢ A personal tutor will be assigned to you in support of your universities studies. ➢ A personal tutor would be your first contact point when you have difficulties academically and non- academically ➢ Your personal tutor will be arranging meetings with you probably online for the being on Microsoft Teams or other platforms ➢ It is expected you meet your personal tutors regularly say once a week or every two weeks ➢ Meetings will be recorded by your personal tutor in the Tutor Dashboard on eVision, and absences from the tutorial sessions will be recorded ➢ Personal tutoring is also part of the BE1602 Engineering Practice with a formal assessment
