Biblical Declarations Prophetic Biblical Declarations are statements with powerful biblical truths backing them to renew your mind and transform your life. They are sometimes known as faith affirmations, prophetic proclamations or personal confessions you speak over yourself for personal benefits. Ultimately, they strengthen the root of your belief in the Word of God and affirm your identity in Christ, so you confidently confront the enemy’s lies with the sword of the Spirit in your mouth. These biblical truths can help align you with God’s plan for your life and equip you with answers to the question who am I in Christ, especially when in crisis? Suppose you want to manifest God’s promises in the Holy Bible in your life, in that case, you will engage in spiritual exercises such as daily Bible reading to know the truth for yourself and speak biblical truths over yourself. Of course, you will need to apply the rules of declarations as you exercise your believer’s authority to declare those truths over your life. You will also connect with the power of God in speaking into existence the word of God for your life and align yourself with your true identity in Christ as you transform your life into living an abundant life. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks (Luke 6:25). It is true there is power in the words we speak but did you know that the ability to bring into existence or manifest your dreams with those words only comes from God and not you? God will allow you to have your heart’s desires, but only He empowers those words (Genesis 2:7) to manifest. No human being has the power to manifest things into existence or bring about the desired change if God does not empower you. Only God enables dreams and visions to come to reality.
Thus, making declarations without scriptural backings an effort in futility. You do not have the power to fulfil God’s promises to you nor the ability to activate truths in your life. Even if your will alone pushes you to realise your dreams to an extent, God remains the giver of gifts that you have acquired. Remember, God the Father is the architect of all declarations, and His first declarations exemplify speaking your truth into existence. His words exude power and change situations for life. God said, “Let there be light! And there was light” (Genesis 1:1), and a whole new world came into existence in alignment with His words and according to His plans. God’s Word is powerful, and they work wonders. Since He created you in His image after His likeness (Genesis 1:26), you have access to the power in the spoken words. You have the grace to speak His Word over yourself and change your life for good. God always honours his words above His name (Psalm 138:2). He never goes back on His Word, and He watches His Word to bring it to pass (Jeremiah 1:12). Therefore, speaking it aloud with a strong belief in Him helps you release your faith in God and aligns you with His will. Moreover, God always honours his words above His name (Psalm 138:2), and going back to Him with His words reminds Him to fulfil His promises to you. God and declarations Whenever God’s children make declarations in line with God’s Word, His counsel over their lives comes to pass. Suppose you are in a partnership with God to do according to His will and His good pleasure (Philippians 2:13). In that case, God will always honour his Word (Psalm 138:2) and fulfil your heart’s desires (Psalm 37:4). Therefore, when you make bold scriptural
