The case occurred when Fraser gave a “inappropriate” speech when trying to promote his friend and classmate Jeff Kuhlman as student vice president.
The case was seen by some as a infringement upon First Amendment Rights.
Although Fraser appealed to the school he was still found guilty for breaking 7 other school policies.
Fraser filed lawsuit upon school authorities and the courts ruled in his favor.
The school then asked the school to look upon the case and they ruled a 7-2 vote in the schools favor.
