How demanded from other students is the content of your document? How rare is the content of your document? Are there other documents in the Store on that particular topic? If so, what is their average price? How does the quality of your documents compare to the best- selling ones within your field of study? Choosing the right price for your documents will likely be dependent on several factors. For instance:

1.2 Pricing Definition Tips

Check other documents related to yours in the Store. That will give you an idea of the price and quality of the document. There is no “right” of “wrong” price for documents, but there are two main pricing strategies that you can adopt. Lower price to get more downloads. Higher price to get more earning with each download. This strategy allows more users to download your documents and the earnings come from the amount of downloads. This strategy allows you to earn more from each download but could reduce the possibility to get a lot of downloads..

Considering how valuable you think your documents are, you can test these strategies and see which is working best for your documents. You can always change strategy in time. For example, in the following weeks the upload you may even realise that you had initially set a price that is too high or too low. Remember that you can always modify the price of your documents (access My documents and click ). So, a possibility is: if you are getting a lot of downloads you may feel more confident to increase the price of your documents in order to ramp up your earnings. On the contrary, if you notice a document has a low number of downloads, you can consider to decrease the price a bit to see what happens.

1.3 What is SEO?

SEO (Search Engine Optimization) is a non-exact science of Marketing to make Google understand that we have useful pieces of content or documents for users. For example, imagine a student searching for the topic "acceleration" on Google. We want Google to understand that we have the best document for this student. Therefore, we expect our site to appear at the top of Google's search results for that topic. In consequence, the titles and descriptions of the documents must be optimized with some strategies, see below:

You can track your sales in the sales section of your account. Go to docsity.com; Log into the site with your existing username and password; Click on your profile picture; Select My reviews ; You can see the feedback you received on the Received section. You can check ratings and feedback received on your document page. To do this, follow the instructions below: For now, you can view the number of downloads and price of the document. That being the case, access My documents. Also, if you are disappointed with your document earnings you can change the price, title and description to make them more attractive to users. For that, access “My documents” and click.
