The beck depression inventory ii (bdi-ii) is a self-report questionnaire designed to identify the presence and severity of depression. It consists of 21 statements, each corresponding to a symptom of depression. The respondent selects the statement that best describes their feelings during the past two weeks, including the present moment. The questionnaire is used by healthcare professionals to assess the severity of depression and monitor treatment progress.
