Behavior Change Project
This assignment is worth up to 20 points.
1. Select your goals:
What do you want for yourself? How do you want to be different?
Make your goals specific rather than vague. For example: I want to loose 5
pounds, exercise daily, meet new people, start dating someone special, keep
up in all my classes, study for 2 hours every night, stop smoking, stop
drinking, drugs, gambling, nail biting, exaggerating, spending, shopping, or
credit card debt. You might want to attend all classes even when you are
exhausted, stop loosing your temper, get along better with your family,
roommate, friends, or significant other. I think you got the idea. Pick
something specific to you.

acquire in order to reach your goal. What specific behaviors would you like
to increase? What behaviors do you want to decrease? How might you
reach your goal? We are talking hear about something you can actually see
and experience. Examples: I will not buy any cigarettes or borrow them
from my friends during this time. I will not eat anything with sugar in it. I
will control my temper by breathing deeply and trying to listen to what the
other person is saying. I will wake up early and go to the gym for one hour
every day. Now, what will you do?
