of Apple India Private Limited (the “Company”) FY 2019-20
1. The Company’s corporate social responsibility (“CSR”) programmes are outlined in its CSR policy as published on the
Company’s website at https://www.apple.com/legal/more-resources/docs/Apple-India-CSR.pdf (the “CSR Policy”).
The Company’s CSR Policy obligates the Company to undertake specific CSR projects and programmes, as approved
from time to time by the Company’s CSR committee, in accordance with the CSR Policy’s pre-established categories.
To that end, during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020, the CSR committee implemented two specific CSR programs
in accordance with the CSR Policy. The two programs involved, among other things:
Supporting Barefoot College in the electrification of rural villages through the use of sustainable solar energy power
generation, the provision of education to the children of these villages, and the promotion of women’s empowerment
through the training of “Solar Mamas”. These projects were carried out in Andhra Pradesh, Assam, Bihar, Chattisgarh,
Jharkhand, Karnataka, Ladakh, Maharashtra, Manipur, Meghalaya, Orissa, Rajasthan, Sikkim, Uttarakhand, and West
Bengal.
Supporting the Akanksha Foundation in the provision of high-quality education to low-income communities in Mumbai
and Pune through, among other things, financial support for teachers and the implementation of innovative training and
new equipment.
2. As of March 31, 2020, the CSR committee consisted of Peter Ronald Denwood and Damon Lee Nakamura, directors of
the Company.
3. The average net profit of the Company for the three financial years ended March 31, 2019 (FY 2016-17, FY 2017-18, FY
2018-19) was INR 8,296,764,489.
4. The total amount of CSR expenditure to be spent by the Company during the fiscal year ended March 31, 2020 of
INR 165,935,290.
