Apollo Orchestra The featured performer at the concert is Apollo Orchestra. Millennium stage, a concert that was held in the Terrace Theater in the Kennedy center in the D.C area in March 5, 2020. Founded in 2010, The Apollo Orchestra provides a platform for many of the Washington, D.C. area’s finest professional freelance classical musicians. The orchestra joins forces with well-known opera stars and accomplished international instrumental soloists for an annual series of free concerts throughout the D.C. area. The musical work of the Millennium Stage concert of which I will now analyze several elements. We can listen to it from minute 34:10 to 52:00 the work is rich in dynamics and nuances that I manage to identify some as (P) Piano, (PP) Pianissimo, and (F) Forte, also has a 4/4 four-quarter compass. At the beginning of the musical work the orchestra plays in a tempo from Moderato to Allegro. When the pianist joins the orchestra plays in tempos from Moderato, Allegro to Allegrissimo. We also hear a cadenza at the end of the work performed by the pianist where the base melody predominates in a major key combined with several arpeggios of the major key and various chromatic scales. When we analyze a work already with technical and contextual knowledge, it allows us to go a little deeper into the analysis. It also allows us to fully enjoy it. It gives us the opportunity to feel it, understand it and live the feeling and the idea that the author is expressing. I think that the most important elements in a musical work are the dynamics and nuances, since without them the work would be completely flat and without flavor. The nuances can indicate respectively different degrees of intensity or the transition between them.
