Consider the following two data sets:
I: 13 22 2 23 3 11 21 1 12
and
II : 18 27 29 9 8 17 28 7 19
1. Compute the mean, variance and standard deviation for data set I.
2. Compute the mean, variance and standard deviation for data set II.
3. For data set I, finish the following frequency distribution table.
Class Frequency
0-9
10 - 19
20 - 29
4. Compute the mean, variance and standard deviation for the grouped data in the previous table.
5. Compare your answers to the answers you got in number 1.
