Philosophy of Education
I am a life-long learner. Life-long learning is being open to new ideas, decisions, and
skills. This means that anyone can learn at any age and any time during their life. There will
always be many opportunities for learning as a teacher. Life-long learning is important in
teaching because teachers need to be high-quality examples for their students. Students can
acquire this ambition from their students.
Teachers make a commitment to educate their students. It is the teacher’s responsibility
to make sure that the students are learning. It is important for teachers to have a relationship with
their students. Students respect the teachers who take the time get to know them.
A reflective practitioner is a teacher who can reflect on his or her teaching while unifying
the art and science of good teaching practice. It is important for teachers to reflect on their
teaching. By reflecting on and improving their teaching method, they are helping their students.
I think technology should play a significant role in teaching and learning. Computers are
apparent in the everyday classroom. Televisions and projection machines are also used in many
classrooms. One concern in technology is whether students can be to absorbed or dependent on
computers. Technology is definitely an important aspect in education.
