1. List and/or identify the bones of the foot and ankle. Be sure to know how
many tarsals, metatarsals and phalanges there are. How do you identify the
individual phalanges and metatarsals. What are the two tarsals you need to
know?
2. What are 3 common injuries to the foot/ankle that we can tape for? What
positions of the foot/ankle are required to make the tape jobs effective?

instability?
8. Which ligament is injured from a force in which direction?
9. Is the knee inherently stable or unstable (think about the shape of the bones involved
here)? How does the meniscus impact.
10. Explain the difference between chondromalacia and osteochondritis.
11. Explain the difference between autograft and allograft.
12. What tissues can be used to repair ACL? Which is preferred and why? How
about repairing the PCL?
